Inside Thailand’s ‘rampant’ tiger cruelty as animals abused in zoos for selfies with tourists

A new undercover investigation of Thailand’s zoos shows abuse of tigers for tourist selfies is still “rampant”, a charity has said.

While concerns about the treatment of big cats in the country have been raised for years, animal rights campaigner group Lady Freethinker (LFT) said it had found cruelty against “photo-prop” animals in recent visits to 11 zoos across Thailand.

Why some bozos think it would be a good idea to have a photo of themselves with a big cat is completely beyond me.

It's just feeding the greed.

money is the only thing that matters in this country.

Is there any country, capitalist or otherwise, in which money isn't "the only thing that matters"?

The story is about Thailand only,  it's not about any other country.

To sort of quote you, the story is about tiger cruelty only, it's not about any other animal.
