The Thai people should sue the 159 abstaining senators, who are obviously incapable or unwilling to do their job.

Pursue legal actions through court systems that were placed and enacted by the same circle from which the illegal senators originate [and exist]....??

Foxes appointed to watch the hen house.

Should be mandatory vote.  And abstentions should reflect on the # of votes needed to get to be Pm.  159 abstentions means 159 less votes the PM needs to get elected.   Or formal explanation why absenting.  Like related to so&so or I have media business with so&so or something.  Come on man, You can't just abstain without a reason.  Ugh.

Should also be a secret ballot.

Here's a little refresher about how Thailand got to this point. Shocking. Same actors. Some are quietly making their shameful exit. Some will be around for years to come no doubt. Something has to change.

And if you're wondering about the 2017 constitution and how it ever got passed...
