Just had my garden wall raised. brick plus cement screen...I will finish painting with TOA 4 SEASONS ..

What is the best primer or paint for the first coat over cement?

Thanks,in advance, for any response.

There are 2 types one is for older concrete and clear.

The other is white for new and white.

This is the one i used, i have a small section on my house where it has never had top coat applied and still looks fine after 5 years.

Sealer for old concrete wall - "num ya boom gau."

Sealer for new concrete - "num ya boon mai."

Oil based or water based, your pick.

I use TOA 4 seasons for interior walls. For exterior I use TOA Shield-1 Nano.

We have just been priming both new render and old pained concrete.

Our specialty paint shop recommendation for both is this.

it is oil based but can be over painted by either oil or water based paints.

Within the past 6 months a portion of my garden wall broke down and I had it replaced and rendered, I used this primer on recommendation from the Home Pro paint guys, new blocks/new render, and I asked for something that will stand up to mold/wetness;
