Police have used a taser and wooden club to stop an intoxicated Russian man who went on the rampage in Phuket, allegedly damaging multiple cars. The Phuket Express reports that the incident happened in the sub-district of Wichit, just south of Phuket Town.

It’s understood the man was spotted damaging cars in front of a condo building on the afternoon of Friday, July 21. Local residents informed Wichit Police, and a team of no fewer than 10 officers, led by Anurak Parinyasathirakun, attended the scene.

The unnamed Russian was holding a bottle opener and refused to cooperate with the police, instead threatening officers. He was reportedly unable to communicate with police due to language difficulties and his level of drunkenness.
