      I bought a car when I studied in Thai. After I went to abroad and now I need to sell my car. I read that I need residence certificate but I cannot do it because now I am in abroad.

What can I do?

Send a photocopy of your passport and the passport page showing your departure date exit from Thailand to the person selling your car for you.

 

Whoever is selling your car get then to sent the 2 DLT papers for you to sign.

When I needed to change the name in the book, ''no can do'' as the last owner had left Thailand so no current visa in the copies of his passport. lucky for me he came back after 3mths.

The new 'owner' could just keep it in your name.

Maybe someone else will come along with a solution.
