Rehabilitation in a Temple.

I can see all those professional Monks doing the job. ????

Hardly a new idea. There is a temple near Bang Saray that takes in wayward people.... they take their phones off them and are subjected to a monks regime. (No not playing cards and drinking all day!)

Next up, they will rehabilitate methamphetamine addicts at temples.

Oh wait a minute.  Our last monk at our village temple just got busted for possession of yaba (meth).  Currently derobed and out of jail on bail awaiting trial next month where he's looking at a couple of years in prison unless he flips on his sources.

The another temple about 5 km away had a monk who was hospitalized because his liver was shot from drinking Thai whiskey.  He was actually a friend who had lapsed.

So Buddhist temples as rehabilitation centers?  Only if they clean up there own backyard's first.
