Black Clouds Stirred as Storm Hits Ao Nang Beach, Krabi

Krabi faced a menacing scene as dark clouds gathered and a powerful storm wreaked havoc in the popular tourist area of Ao Nang.

 

On the evening of July 30th, 66, the sky turned ominous above Ao Nang Beach, Moo 2, Tambon Ao Nang, Amphoe Mueang, Krabi, reported 77kaoded.

 

Fierce gusts ensued, closely trailed by a deluge, compelling entrepreneurs to hastily safeguard their possessions. Simultaneously, inhabitants and visitors alike sought refuge from the rainfall and blustery currents, prioritizing their own well-being.

 

The Port Authority's Regional Director, Mr. Manan Nawalwan, issued a warning for all types of boats to be cautious due to dangerous sea conditions caused by strong waves and winds influenced by the impact of the southwestern monsoon.

 

 

Small boats were advised not to venture out into the sea to prevent accidents. Boat operators were urged to conduct safety checks and have all necessary safety equipment ready for any emergency.

 

Passengers were reminded to wear life jackets at all times while on board and stay updated with weather announcements from the Meteorological Department.

Rain during rainy season making the news almost daily here ... mind boggling.

 

Bang Saphan Hospital hasn't even be flooded yet, and that's usually a yearly occurrence ????
