A foreign man has collapsed and died after allegedly drinking tea laced with marijuana at a premises on Pattaya’s Walking Street. According to a Nation Thailand report, the incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, July 30.

Workers from the Sawang Boribun Thamma Sathan rescue centre arrived at the scene after being notified at around 3.45am. Inside the shop in the Bang Lamung district, they found a foreigner collapsed on the floor.

The Pattaya News carried a later story claiming that the man had been drinking a cappuccino at the time but no official reason for the man’s death has yet been released by the coroner.
