Hunter Biden's former business partner tells Congress about Joe Biden calls

Devon Archer, a former business partner of Hunter Biden, gave details about calls between President Biden and his son as he testified to the House Oversight Committee about his business dealings with the younger Biden on Monday. But Republicans and Democrats were at odds over the meaning of those calls.

Archer served alongside Hunter Biden on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company, beginning in 2014, while the elder Biden was vice president and deeply involved in Ukraine policy. Archer is widely believed to have facilitated Hunter Biden's entry onto Burisma's board.

House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer said Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma's board was "the brand" and said that the then-vice president brought the most value to "the brand." He also testified that Burisma would have gone under if not for "the brand," Comer said, adding that the elder Biden was put on the phone to sell "the brand."

And you know it was twisted how? Do you have access to a transcript of Archer's testimony? In fact, why was this testimony held behind closed doors? Is there anything in Archer's testimony that could affect National Security or some other governmental processes?  Why didn't the Republicans want this testimony to be done openly?

Tiresome

Yet you claimed that Goldman "twisted Archer's words." You know this how? You stated it as a fact, not a surmise.

Great, so their own witnesses are debunking their own allegations.

Eventually they will release the transcript. But the delay gives them time to spin.

Via the Wall Street Journal, this is from Republican Congressman Andy Biggs, a strong supporter of Donald Trump

"Rep. Andy Biggs (R., Ariz.), a member of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, said Archer testified that only pleasantries were exchanged when Joe Biden was on the phone with his son during meetings. Still, Biggs said that he was confident that the testimony implicated Biden in his son’s business activities."

Is that an official armoured government vehicle in the video?

  • Popular Post

Burisma hoped having Hunter on board might influence Joe not to press Ukraine to fire attorney general who protected the crooks by doing nothing. Joe delivered the news, but all of the EU wanted the corrupt lawyer out, not a "VP Biden" thing at all.

Republicans are amazing: imagine a relative by birth or marriage using relative to gain influence and favors. Hello Ivanka (Chinese patents and deals), Jared (blockade of Dubai because they wouldn't loan him money for his white elephant property), etc, etc

What has the video got to do with the content of Devon Archer's testimony? Your comment is a particularly lame attempt at deflection.

Because the video was in the link you posted, but I didn't know Hunter had an official government function. Maybe a protected specimen function?

A hate campaign?

Were it his haters that didn't pay his taxes, sniffed coke, hired hookers and engaged his dement dad to get some suspicious business deals?

What suspicious deals did Hunter Biden use his dad to obtain?

Yes a hate campaign:

Lawyers for the president’s son Hunter Biden sent Donald Trump a cease-and-desist letter on Thursday, alleging that the former president’s frequent hostile comments about Mr Biden are defamatory and likely to inspire violence.

"implying Mr Biden should get a “death sentence”

It's a common practice on the internet to include related videos in an article. Most of us have the ability to distinguish between videos that are relevant and those that are not. Apparently, there are a few of us who don't.

Oh, c'mon now. All Trump did was ask why prosecutors didn't seek a death sentence for Hunter Biden. So I really don't see...oh wait a minute.

This is not hate campaign?

By the great leader himself!

"The letter points to recent examples of Mr Trump’s aggressive statements about Mr Biden, such as a March social media post allegedly implying Mr Biden should get a “death sentence” and July message claiming cocaine found in the White House “was for use by Hunter”. The letter claims such provocations could inspire one of Mr Trump’s “easy-to-trigger followers.”

And It's not like Trump's messages would have any impact on his nutter base! Such as if an armed man would wait outside Obama's house after reading a post made by Trump! Oh wait! ????

That's their m.o. Release quickly testimonies which seem to support their cause, but delay the release of testimonies they don't like. During the delay, the propaganda and the fan base have time enough to diffuse what 'Comer says'...
