You would be better off asking about particular land border entries.

Also your location along with reason for inquiry.

Meaning border bounce or obtaining visa at nearby Thai consulate.

Land border crossings with Myanmar are either closed or could be closed on short notice.

 

Land border crossings with other neighboring countries (Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia) are open.

To simplify, all crossings to Myanmar that were previously open to foreigners (with the exception of Ranong) were closed at last report.

ONLY Ranong is open for Burma for border bounces or if you have a visa,  onward travel only by air

$10 will allow you to stay in kawthaung  for up to 14 days but limited to 20 kms from town

Reports that I consider credible have reported that foreigners have been unable to cross for months. As against that, Google reports that it is open, and some recent Google reviews suggest the same. I think it is closed, but contacting someone at the bridge would be necessary to be sure.

someone here posted about a van co that did border runs...maybe i can track them down with updates....seems i just made it last time before they closed it..was so simple and easy...  ????
