On August 10th, at 4:00 PM, news broke of a large number of unidentified insects found floating along the shores of Rayong Beach, spanning over 3 kilometers from Laem Chabang to Suan Chan Beach in Muang District, Rayong Province. Experts have been dispatched to investigate the phenomenon.

Upon reaching Laem Chabang Beach, black insects were observed in vast numbers, forming a continuous line along the shoreline. These insect-like creatures resembled ants but had wings and were approximately the size of a small ant, reported Siam Rath.

Their species remains unidentified, as does the reason behind their mass stranding, extending more than 3 kilometers. Estimated to be in the millions, locals are bewildered and speculate that they may have washed ashore due to changing sea conditions.

Residents, tourists, and fishermen are cautious due to potential toxicity. Marine experts suspect they might be insects from inland areas, blown out to sea, yet the mass stranding remains puzzling. The community speculates whether this could signify a natural warning or an environmental anomaly.
