Tell that to Bud Light and the other "go woke, go broke" losers

That's the bigots line these days.

Meanwhile Heartstoppers is an international hit.

It's not nearly as black and white as you assert.

Yes the anti gay bigots are having a season though.

Less than it could be that's for sure.

But LGBTQ Malaysians are mostly stuck there.

Less than not much?

I don't expect a boycott would have much effect.

The people that Maylaysia doesn't want to visit threaten not to visit?

“Oh, Br’er Fox, I don’t care what you do with me, so long as you just don’t throw me in that briar patch over there. Go on and barbecue me up, Br’er Fox, but please don’t throw me in that briar patch.”

Your topics appear on the general interest list on the right, so everybody sees them.  Wouldn't know which sub-forum a thread appears in unless reading thru the entire fine print directory list after clicking.

You might contact site administration to have your sub-forum removed from the topics list and keep your echo chamber safe and effective.

I think it should be removed entirely.

Too much homophobia.

I've requested that but its not up to me.

So being against persecution of gay people is woke?

So by that being anti woke is being a bigot.

It is not about the gay people, it is about you thinking to be special and have a say on Malaysia their decision as a country, that is woke.

You don't think straight people ram their straightness down people's throats?!?

That's hilarious.

Im straight. I like gay people. Mostly friendly. A lot of older straights become nasty and unfriendly for some reason. So much anger.

Maybe not but LGBTQ people should avoid it along with other countries such as Russia, Iran, Sudan, arguably the United States, and many others.

I never said I should have a say.

Stop lying.

I said avoid it.

I see similarities to Russia.

Jailing people for wearing a watch is insane.

it's not about "wearing a watch".

if you made a nazi-themed watch and wore it in Germany you'd probably get fined too, in theory also jailed.

it's not about a watch, it's about promoting a way of life that isn't approved in Germany. or in Malaysia.

this LGBT-themed watch issue opens many perspectives / cans of worms.

should we respect other cultures ?

what if that culture includes the oppression of minorities ?

what about a religion ?

how is an enemy of our culture / state defined ?

should we go to war ?

We should not go to war but I hope Malaysian LGBTQ people are afforded asylum opportunities.

At least in these countries they have the possibility to watch normal movies and not see in every movie and watch homosexuals and lesbians make love.

You are not the majority and therefore you have no right to impose your ideas.

That would be terrible world where minorities had no right impose their ideas but the majority could at will.

Maybe some "bigots" say that.  Bigots discuss normal everyday things as well as, well, "bigot stuff".  The critique of "wokeism" in things like the media and advertising is mainly mainstream though.  You just want to pretend it isn't to try to prevent people from discussing it through threats of shame and stigma.

Malaysia is a sovereign country and has a right to prevent those how support turd tamping.

Yet so many straight guys get into it.  Annal porn gathers the most views.  Just saying and I'm heterosexual.  I bet you like it yourself...

Actually I think most people have a live and let live approach to life. I couldn't care less what you do and with who. Just don't expect people to agree that there is more than male and female when it comes to gender. If you want to live in a fantasy world, that's your right. My right is to call it a load of BS.

You don't get it

You're blind to what societies are actually like for LGBTQ people.

Even more progressive countries.

Posts violating community guidelines have been reported and removed.  Continue making homophobic, anti-gay remarks and you will receive a suspension.  This is your final warning.

What about clicking likes on certain topics on facebook ?  that can lead to a couple of decades in jail in Thailand

Sex belongs in the bedroom, though not necessarily the closet. Why not leave it there and get on with your life?  Sexuality is a small part of who we are. Build an identity based on something other than sexual orientation and you won't be incessantly inflamed and offended.

My God man, there's so much more to life.

No. Not "a Swatch watch"

People can wear almost any Swatch watch.

It shouldn't be too difficult not to wear that stupid alphabet soup rainbow design.

You are happy to have governments dictate to you what design or pattern / picture you are or are not allowed to wear on your personal accessories?

That's really ignorant if you think sexual orientation is only about sex.

Another one that doesn't get it.

Not my cup of tea.

I just don't get the attraction.

Tried it 38 years ago and it was confusing.  If being gay meant you had a second hole that was self lubing and smelled nice,  what would gay men choose.  JJ is getting teamed up on and think a little empathy is in order.

It’s their country, their laws their culture. No foreign national is required to attend. Though if one doesn’t like the ways of Malaysia or another country then I’d suggest go there and set them straight, and be sure to keep us posted on the progress.
