Can't say he's wrong but why tf didn't he sell those shares? It's kinda his own fault knowing Thailand as he should. The exact same thing happened prior, same party.

Only when the smell of 1848 is in the air will things change

you cannot sell shares in a de-listed company

Christ how gullible these people are....

Not only that, but misinformed.

The EC already clarified on Monday, it is recommending that the case against Pita regarding his shares in a defunct media company be dropped. It should be official at some point today.

Yes, but people get the government they deserve

Very true. Power has to be taken, as it's almost never given up.

People are too easily mollified with east living and credit nowadays. Probably not just confined to Thailand either.

Makes sense. There absolutely must be way to divorce yourself from them.

Minor point but taken nonetheless

Let's just pray that the current turmoil and clashes do not lead to further social unrests or street violence...

In the negative, such will definiately chase away the rich foreigners who come to spend and do not wish to end up in riots or unstable political climates.

Happens throughout the world.  Australia, Pauline Hanson went to prison when becoming popular for attitude adjustment. .  Funny thing she is still a senator now.  Pakistan,  Imran khan. If you wanna attempt,  get the military on your side first. The people of society second because mostly they are useless.

I hate to say this, but it's his own fault. He knew what happened to his predecessor, and is educated and smart enough to know that he needed to be squeaky clean before stating his election pledges.

Yes and the shares weren't worth holding, he should have dumped them long ago to avoid trouble.

Anyone against arms manufacture and proxy wars, and land grabs by Blackrock could never be a president in the USA

When millions of Thais vote for a change, 250 appointed yet NOT elected senators can block them?

quote from your post

"Yes, but people get the government they deserve".

Do they really?

How does that work out when there is a military coup?

There is an election coming up in NZ and I find it hard to vote for any of them now, especially after the lockdowns and what went on, so by voting for anyone now your your not going to get what you want, you will get what you don't deserve, I can't see any credibility now in any politicians in NZ.

Any educated individual knows that being “squeaky clean” would not have prevented what was done to Pita by the dinosaurs.

Oh dear, what a gerontophobic post. Quite bigoted, really.

You've either changed your tune, or you're uneducated by your own analysis above. A while back, you were confident that Pita would be allowed near the levers of power, and it was I who was telling you it wouldn't happen.

You are indeed Pita, a victim of political persecution. What happened to the rising star of the prior election. Hounded out with trumped up charges. You should have foreseen what would happen. Political parties who don't control the CC, the EC and all the other appointed  judiciary bodies are doomed to failure.
