Only foreign competition will be wiped off the streets of Thailand..

Nana Plaza and all the other venues will operate as normal.

The other way around- take away this and other websites, and the freelance talent will return to the streets/Nana Plaza/clubs. It's actually alarming how bad the (foreign) Bangkok nightlife scene has become post-Covid. There's near-zero new talent in nightclubs - no doubt due to the early closing times. It used to be that bar girls went clubbing after work - now they just go home because clubs are closed. ????

It's gotten so bad that clubs are actually hiring younger girls to show up. Not enough good looking freelancers around anymore. I guess they've all moved on to Pattaya/Phuket?

Escort and prostitution in Thailand?? Not possible.. The police checked many times and never found anything, although it is full of coyotedancers, massageshops, ladyboys, and hookers on almost every corner.... Thai people are clean it are the foreigners who ruin the country.. The foreigners have to come to Thailand and give us their money, the will be scammed as they are all rich and Thais are very poor.....expect a few... We don't understand why tourist and expats don't come to Thailand anymore..

they buy their visa from an agent, in order to bypass the immigration requirements. They are next on the list, along with motorcycle outlaws.

Agents do not sell Visas, only immigration can issue them!

transfer to a country where escort agencies are legal and all investigations end there.

Gawd...you didn't think that "business plan" through, did you?

The whoring, drugging, robbing and promoting of the whoring business as reported in the OP is being done here, not overseas!

and ?
the money trail would end in a country where it's legal.

then no legal aid would be provided to identify the principals.

for example through a company setup in Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Hungary, Latvia or Turkey.

it's rather these agencies here that haven't thought through their business plan.

5555   If you say so!

I have never contacted an Escort Service.

What's it like?  Are the girls educated?  And, what do they talk about?

Also, do poor people use these Escort Services?

Well, as the minimum rate on this particular agency is 6,000 baht for 2 hours, and up to 20 thousand for a 24 hour booking, then no I don't think poor people would be using these escort services !

I just love the blinkers these guys at the top wear.

They get their y-fronts all in a twist over a single web site while the country is afloat in "naughty" venues.

Why do we still have all this stupid fuss over the oldest profession?

Just leave consenting adults alone!!

Oh dear. That's not what the fuss us about. If you don't contribute a slice of the action to the authorities you get closed down.

Are free samples ever offered, in order to drum up business?

What about five-minute-quickies?

(But never for me...)

Just a lot of hairdressers and shop staff who might need "taxi money" at the end of the night...

Granted, talent is not a hard requirement - but it is appreciated. ????

Police say their website was used to allegedly facilitate in luring foreign victims into compromising situations with alcohol and drugs and the subsequent theft of their possessions.

Can anyone confirm or dispel this statement in the 2nd linked article?  If it's true, good on the PoPo for shutting them down.

Could also explain why they didn't go after more escort services whose ONLY crime is offering sex...

Expected better journalism published by this channel. They just purchased a homemade vid from a German dude and put some comments around it
