Re-entry Stamp Pattaya Immigration

Hi All .....I need a re-entry stamp in my Passport ,, question :-  what is the best time of the day to go to the office to miss the hordes of sweaty tourist/expats ?   and how  long will it take approximately from arrival to walking  out office ?  (yes ! I know the times  will vary from day to day )

Did this earlier this week. Showed up around 1:30. The nice lady processing people in the queue even filled out my form for me. Then inside the old bldg, drop the docs off, pay the 1000, and come back(or wait) 30 minutes later to get my passport back.

 

No lineups at all these days at jomtien immigration.

Don’t go on a Monday or Friday or right after a public holiday. I got one a few weeks back mid week and the process from arriving to leaving with the stamp was about 20 minutes. About 1:30 seems to be a good time to arrive.

Parking is not allowed at Rompho market after 2:30pm. About 2 months ago I parked my car there at 1:50pm to go to the immigration to get a multi re entry permit.

After the IO accepted my passport and application, I asked him will the passport be ready in 15 minutes.

"This is not 7-Eleven." he said.

"ha?"

" You want 15 minutes goto 7-Eleven."

Nice guy.

I rushed back to the market, moved my car, and returned to immigration office to find my passport ready, in about 10 minutes. I left Jomtein before 2:30 pm.

The land border I'll be crossing does not issue a re entry stamp   But  you are suggesting I drive 2+hrs to the nearest international airport to get one  issued , that  is a massive waste of my time when my local immigration office is only  a 25  minute drive away .  ????

An agent will do it for 1,500 all in, if you dont want the hassle of going there.

UPATE!!!!!  Went  Thursday 21/09/23  .Arrived 13:45hrs    .  second in the queue to get my paper work checked  and a numbered ticket issued .....  worked out with  re entry stamp in my passport at 14:07 hrs  Happy bunny ????
