Pattaya — An armed gold robber, who made off with over one million baht worth of jewelry from the Aurora Gold Shop in South Pattaya, has finally been arrested in South Korea, Pattaya Police announced at today’s press conference.

On Wednesday, September 20th, Pol. Lt. Gen. Itthiphon Itthisanronnachai, Commander of Provincial Police Region 2, held a press conference to announce the successful apprehension of a fugitive involved in the November 2022 robbery at the Aurora Gold Shop in South Pattaya.

Never thought I'd see this opinion about Pattaya police.

'The arrest operation was a collaborative effort between Thai police and Interpol in South Korea.'

It's more likely that someone managed to fill in an Interpol request & Korean cops did the rest.  The Red Bull brat's Interpol form has been delayed so many times, it's almost like some one in RTP is deliberately messing up the process.

100% spot on.

How long was he planning on living in Korea on a million baht? For the rest of his life?

Gold shops are too tempting, and should be shut down; every time a Thai female friend comes close to one they lose their minds. Oh, and I've heard anecdotes that robbers like them too.
