A friend is arriving on international flight to suvarnabhumi and have limited time to continue to domestic departures, can anyone pinpoint where to go when you come out through the intl arrival hall. Is it same terminal, what level? Its a thaismile flight. 

Same terminal. Concourse A I believe, which is the far right as you're coming out of arrivals. Far left if you're entering the terminal from outside.

At the far left of the terminal, behind the first class TG check-in counters... Gates are A and B at the far left.

5 minute walk.

All departures at Suvarnabhumi (both international and domestic) are on the 4th floor.  Take the escalator (or elevator) and when on 4th floor go left as domestic departures are on row A.  Takes less than 10 minutes from arrival hall exit to domestic departure check-in counters.

Follow the signs like all airports. Surely your friend can do that?

Will give an idea whether it is really tight.

 

The walk from international exit to domestic check in is the least problem compared to queues at immigration, check in at Thaismile. Economy?

After check in there is a usually moderate queue to identity check for domestic.

Security check is close to the the domestic gate. Be prepared for total three(!) identity checks (passport and boarding card always at hand). Walk to the domestic gate can be much longer than walk from international to domestic check in. Walkways help.
