Retirement Extension? Nah, I’m DTV Now.
Note that when first rolled-out, DTVs were easier to get than the seem to be (per recent reports), currently. I would not bet odds on those early threads. -

In Thailand: What are your plans when Nuclear War happens?
Dear Folks, I just want to ask you about your plans when nuclear war happens. Do you have a plan? Also, how do we live with this angst and this leftover from the Age of Anxiety caused by the nuclear age of the 1960s? We can’t live with it unless we can also be in denial of it. But this is not about the philosophy of MAD, and I am only asking about your personal plans when you, one-day soon, hear on your radio, or TikTok, that nuclear warheads have begun flying and then blasting all major cities in the west. Thankfully, we are here in Thailand, and so we will have more time to evacuate. Evacuation will be key for our survival, of course. There is always Pitcairn Island, which is one that is high on my list. But, what about you…..? When you get the first signal that the nukes are raining down in the west, then what might be your plan? Will you stockpile rice, for example? Some say that nuclear war will never happen. But, are you one of these who has no understanding of probability theory? So, we know that this will happen, and that it is just a question of statistical math, and some unknown period of time. The question posed in this topic is: What will you do when you first get the word? This is a very hard question. I don’t even know what I might do. Do you? Best regards, Gamma Please Note: Pitcairn Island..... A beautiful place, but still, one might not wish to live there....FOREVER...just guessing..... -

Vientiane scheduling website down?
Those were just known to be more difficult (at some times - were easier/harder, in other years). The Japanese Thai-consulate was, however, a place which did not provide any sort of Visa service to those w/o Japanese residence - at all. I have not heard of anyone applying there successfully, since the eVisa came out. I wonder if they could, now? - good question. As to visas restricted to application from country of residence (ex: METV), I would assume those restrictions are still in-place - but haven't heard of anyone trying to verify. -

Truevisions loses EPL
I believe True or 3BB don't buy the rights directly from PL, but from a broadcaster that has the rights for multiple countries, but doesn't broadcast directly in those countries In the case of True they got them from BEIN.
