Thai police have a new boss, Pol Gen Tor-sak Suk-wimon was selected to head the force after a vote by the police commission, three others were also in the running including Surachate Hakpan who’s home was raided by officers on Monday.
 
His lawyer has threatened to sue any individual or media outlet which states or implies that Haparn has any involvement in illegal online gambling.
