Middle Aged Grouch
Bad quality is not always in fakes. Many local retailers sell non branded goods, at high prices, that end up to just be crap. Mainly the furniture stores.

Or is it more likely that they paid under 1 million and tried to sell it to dealers for double that and the dealers tried to sell it one by one to idiots with a huge profit margin. Many articles contain numbers like that which mean nothing without telling if that is the manufacturing cost or the expected retail price on the street. 1

ikke1959
Some years ago King Power was accused of selling fake goods in the airports. So who knows what this is in reality
The Old Bull
I would replace the word "fake" with "imitation". Anybody that buys a Rolex watch for $50 ,unless he is stupid, knows he is getting an imitation. Why do these high price suppliers feel threatened , maybe the cheap stuff is just as good? I doubt this was about fake Rolex, but more about the stuff that is sold on Lazada and Shopee, as being brandname stuff. The last 6 months I have more returns than anything else.
