webfact
An out-of-control Fortuner SUV caused havoc at the bustling Nakhon Ratchasima intersection, colliding with several vehicles before the driver fled the scene. This shocking incident was captured by a front car camera and shared on social media by a Facebook user named Wiwat. The disturbing footage reveals the unidentified driver of a Toyota Fortuner, registered in Nakhon Ratchasima, rear-ending a parked pickup truck near Terminal 21 Korat shopping center before reversing into a Toyota Vios with considerable force. The female Vios driver suffered a broken arm as a result, and two more vehicles were damaged in the chaotic scene, reported INN. The rear of the offending Fortuner bore a sticker proclaiming “Professional Soldier,” but the driver showed no professional conduct when confronted by the injured Vios driver. Ignoring pleas to stop, the Fortuner driver made a quick escape, leaving victims and witnesses in shock and disbelief. Police in Nakhon Ratchasima have been notified and provided with the video evidence and the easily discernible license plate of the hit-and-run vehicle. Despite more than three days passing and the availability of multiple CCTV footage in the area, law enforcement has yet to apprehend the suspect. The victims and netizens are collectively using social media to track down the responsible Fortuner as justice remains pending. -- ASEAN NOW 2023-10-04 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Ramp up the pressure on social media. The driver may be army thus connected and Police unwilling to pursue a case against him.

Not long, but running the plate does not mean that the driver will be at the address to which the vehicle is registered. brianthainess
Usual driving standards here init. When I was taught to drive never sit in stationary traffic with your vehicle in gear with your foot on the clutch, and apply the hand brake. I still do this even with an automatic in N and handbrake on.

With respect, I owned a 4-wheel drive Fortuner for 8 years until it was due its first MOT, then I sold it. A very nice and practical SUV for the roads where I lived among the mountains of Lanna. Read, learn and understand the terms properly: A regular army may be: A conscript army, including professionals, volunteers and also conscripts (presence of enforced conscription, including recruits for the standing army and also a compulsory reserve).A professional army, with no conscripts (absence of compulsory service, and presence of a voluntary reserve). I repeat: Thailand has a conscript army, not a professional one. Bold is mine for emphasis. Edited October 5, 2023 by Mr Meeseeks 1

In fact they couldn't have an army without professionals as its main constituents. And get this, last year over 25,000 young men volunteered to do national service. That's how keen they are to get on the 1st rung of the ladder toward becoming a professional soldier. Bold is mine for emphasis.
