Maybe already commented, but here's another viewpoint. Men get really drunk on the "straight bar areas", which makes them much easier to pick their pockets or even get taken home. Pretty simple if you ask me. Obvious. Yep, I've had them grab me walking around in the area, like you know, Nana Plaza, initiate an embrace and their spare hand starts probing the pockets. I've never been robbed that way. And yes, @scottiejohn I've even taken one to a short time hotel room and I got robbed. That only happened one time. It'll make ya change your ways, too. Or it did me.
