however I have noticed a change in the way I react to stresses beyond my control.

I tend to fix things quicker now, rather than bury my head in the sand like i did before.

The only reason I suffer from stress at this point in my life is people. Unfortunately, not something I can 'fix', except growing a thicker skin...

Often it is not the actual thing that is a problem, it's your attitude toward it that causes the problem.

I'll be honest Charlie. In my youth I was a stickler for running away from my problems

I buried my head in the sand a lot, hoping that whatever it was would go away.

It never did.

Now I have paid the price, but the price is paid!

and I can now move on (hopefully) and forget the whole thing.

Karma is real.

Agree with you.

If you don't care too much, then you won't have a problem.

the issue i struggle with most is when my problems affect other people.

like my wife, family etc.

i dont really care what happens to me per se, i just dont want my family to ever suffer for my actions.

But if you deal with your problems head on like a man

This is the threadbare consolation prize advice for failures who simply could not manage to run away from their problems.

Which you can observe even a roach doing.

Agree, you can't control others, you can only control your reaction to others.

Absolutely.  I don't give a flying fack what people think or say about me.  That's their problem.  I just get on and enjoy my life ????

ive been dealing with a lot of stuff lately, mostly self inflicted from my past.

its been causing me quite a bit of grief to be honest, both personally and financially.

I believe its how we react to situations that defines us as people.

if you just try to ignore the problem and hope that it goes away one day it will come back to bite you hard on the backside.

But if you deal with your problems head on like a man then no matter how hard it may seem initially, the feeling of getting it resolved and the peace of mind that it brings is worth its weight in gold.

cheers, hope everyone is keeping well!

So you ate too much kfc

Other people's opinion is none of my business. It's their mind. They can think whatever bs.
