12 Thais may have been killed in Hamas attack in Israel

As many as 12 Thais may have been killed in the Hamas attack on Israel, according to Deputy Foreign Minister Jakkaphong Sangmanee in his post on X Sunday night.

 

He said that Israeli officials have confirmed the deaths of two Thai nationals, but Israeli employers claim that ten more Thai workers were killed, but no details about their identities are available so far.

 

He also said that eight Thais were injured, two of them seriously and 11 have been abducted.

 

Three of the Thais abducted have been identified as Anucha Angkaew, a resident of Udon Thani, Natthaporn Onkaew, a native of Nakhon Phanom and Ovart Suriyasri.

 

The parents of Anucha told the media yesterday (Sunday) that their son had been working in Israel for almost two years, earning about 50,000 baht per month.

Thailand ’s Center of an Emergency Situation in Israel reported that 12 Thai nationals were killed , eight injured and 11 detained in Hamas attacks . A Thai resident in Israel , taking to Twitter, shared that he and nearly 100 fellow Thais managed to survive without any assistance from officials.

 

Deputy Foreign Minister Jakkapong Saengmanee stated that Thailand maintains a neutral stance in this conflict, advocating for both countries involved to work towards a peaceful two-state solution. Thailand unequivocally condemns the violations that have occurred in this crisis, though it refrains from naming specific groups responsible.

 

Jakkapong further disclosed that about 30,000 Thai nationals are employed in Israel, primarily in the agricultural sector. Among this group, at least 12 Thais lost their lives in the recent incident. Local authorities confirmed two of these fatalities, while the remaining 10 have been verified by their employers. Their identities have not yet been released.

How can this official say Thailand remains neutral and then advocate a two state solution, the ultimate view of total outsiders? Hamas doesn't want a two state solution, they've shown that over and over. They want one state, with every Jew dead; it's part of their charter. But they may get what they want ironically because Israel now has little choice but to incorporate Gaza as the only path to any sort of security; they can't keep letting this happen over and over. But if Hamas is allowed to survive this, will Thailand want any of its citizens to stay in that area? Is removing them neutral?

Thailand merely goes with mainstream diplomacy. The two-state solution is still what's prescribed by the international community, hence...

Not really sure a two state solution is the key when both parties pray to books that pretty much say both are the only true religion, only they are the true people of god and kill the infidel !!! 

 

I pretty much expect Israel to go in and get some of its people back and then tactical nuke Gaza - the international community are so caught up in other wars and economic issues there would not be any comebacks. I am by no stretch of the imagination an authority here... but I think only one book says to kill any who will not convert. I kind of doubt Gaza will get nuked... those on shore breezes would be deadly for Israel - not to mention Israel could not then occupy Gaza...

Either Israel completely destroys Palestine or the other way around.

 

The thing that gets me is that as a US citizen apparently Israel is my "greatest ally" and we owe them unlimited military support in the form of US tax dollars (yay!). I can't even think of a single thing Israel ever did to directly help America. IMO the US government is completely captured by Zionists (Jews and Christians alike) and they will continue to fund Israel (with my tax dollars) until the ultimate destruction of Palestine.

Looking in though it does seem it’s the usual “peaceful” lot kicking off yet again. Putting aside history as if you don’t nothing in this world will get resolved, how can people shout “God is Great” whilst killing???  I’m back in the UK right now in my home city of Bristol  in a woke student area , the kind of area that has Lenin posters up and join the communist party etc etc. So I’m sure there’s gunna be the usual feel sorry for Palestine march in the coming days with a load of deluded students waving Palestinian flags and crusty old Che Guevara fantasists leading it.

Just to add some nuance. My wife is Muslim, and she was disgusted by that (and everything else Hamas has perpetrated in the past few days). Her best friend, also Muslim, is married to an Israeli-Russian-American Jew ... no disagreement between them on who's the 'evil' party there as well. The problem is that Islam is too easy to hijack for nefarious ends because Muhammad wasn't exactly a peace-loving 'hippie' like Jesus or the Buddha.

Whilst not supporting Hamas in any way I can see why this has happened, brutal oppression by Israel has gone on for decades now.

Will the Thais likely be freed, or what is the typical outcome when dealing with Hamas and captured prisoners from non-conflict countries? If they are all executed, what will Thailand do? My other half is highly upset about this and has been focused on YouTube videos of the history of the conflict since the news dropped.

Israel needs foreign workers the same as many countries. 

The workers that the Thais replaced were non-Israeli Arabs.

While the workers are obviously there for the salaries, attacking Thai workers is also an attack on the Israeli economy.

Who is going to make a deal if there is one to get the Thai captives back?

Denying a 2state solution from the start or a peaceful together of palestinians and jews as a united country, stealing other peoples' land and life has given rise to hamas and similar organisations (they did not exist before Israel started the Stern Group terror and did not either until it was obvious the 2state solution was a scam), maybe shooting and arresting stone throwing children against tanks and trigger happy brooklyn jews has slightly increased the anger of people that had lived there for thousands of years before the zionists, just as the cia coup against an elected governement support for a murderous shah has given rise to equally murderous mullahs that now support eejits like hamas against eejits like N. . Maybe history is just another alternative fact, right? If they were taken accidentally, they would have better prospects. As in my previous post I don't know if they were targetted intentionally or not.

In the past when the Hamas terrorists have taken hostages it was very few people and they demanded a massive price for release.

With so many hostages now, we're in an unprecedented zone, and it's very hard to predict the odds of hostage survival.

They will of course be spread out and used as human shields.

That's how Hamas rolls.

So if you're religious probably time to pray for them.
