webfact Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 On the morning of October 9th, a shocking incident unfolded outside a popular shopping mall in Nonthaburi. A 66-year-old man, identified as Kamphon Kritisophi, was stabbed multiple times following a heated confrontation. The assailant, a man in his late thirties accompanied by his toddler, attacked Kritisophi after being questioned for taking unauthorized photographsm reported Siam Rath. Around 8:30 in the morning, police and medical teams hurried to the location where they found the elderly victim, Kritisophi, suffering from five knife injuries. The conflict had ignited earlier when Kritisophi, while enjoying a cigarette, observed a younger individual, who had his toddler in tow, capturing images of him without consent.An argument ensued after Kritisophi inquired about the man's intentions. According to a witness, Wilaiwan Panpitr, the attacker pocketed his phone and drew a knife, inflicting multiple wounds on Kritisophi before fleeing with his child. Passersby were initially stunned and slow to respond until they noticed the severity of Kritisophi’s injuries. Emergency services arrived promptly, administering first aid before transferring him to Pranangklao Hospital.
