Popular Post webfact Posted October 16, 2023 Popular Post Posted October 16, 2023 Pattaya — A Thai man turned himself in to Pattaya police after physically assaulting a Russian tourist who had attempted to break up a fight between him and another Thai individual. Pattaya police reported on Sunday, October 15th, that a motorcyclist who reportedly brandished a firearm and attacked Russian Good Samaritan Mr. Artem had turned himself in at the Pattaya Police Station after being heavily pressured by law enforcement. Pol. Col. Thanaphong Phothi, chief of Pattaya police, told The Pattaya News that at 4:30 AM on October 14th, a Russian tourist, Mr. Artem Kitaichik, was physically assaulted as a result of his well-intentioned attempt to intervene in a fight between an angry motorcyclist and a taxi driver. The incident took place on Soi 15 in Pattaya. Mr. Artem was punched in the face by the irate motorcyclist, later identified by police as Mr. Wanchalerm Sripaisonthi, 35, who subsequently fled the scene. The taxi driver, who still hasn’t turned himself in and could still not be identified, also managed to escape. jacko45k Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Am I incorrect to say the word 'arrest' does not apply if he gave himself in?... Police were simply sat at their desks at the time I suspect.
mancub Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 Mayor of Pattaya should honour him for attempting to stop the tarnishing of Thailand's image !

I have pictures to prove it! I think using the phrase "good samaritan" might be a bit of a rush to judgement. Lucky he didn't get stabbed. I don't think this young lad will be trying to stop anymore fights in Thailand.. unless he's really not done trying to impress his Thai girlfriend. Meanwhile down the street ladyboy's are busy pick pocketing Indian tourists.
