From "Samui-Express":

Samui Mayor Varakorn Rattanarak is about to complete its three-year development plan for the island-municipality as required by the Interior Ministry.

The development, he said, will be the basis for the municipality’s budget allocation from the national government.

The three-year plan will cover the period of 2007-2009. It incorporates various projects aimed at addressing certain problems and needs of Samui residents.

The mayor also said the development plan would also become the basis in reviewing the performance of the municipal government. Mr. Varakorn has asked the various departments in the municipality to closely review the plan.

Where can I see this plan??

"It incorporates various projects aimed at addressing certain problems and needs of Samui residents."

So no planning without aimed at addressing probs and needs! Are they sure?

Note that we are well into 2007 already, so a proposal for 2007 onwards seems to be in line with the status quo in terms of the activity vs. jaw movement ratio. Well done all...

Typical committee bureaucratic behavior :o

Typical committee bureaucratic behavior :o

Lazy-do-nothingness with hands-out-edness.

Like I said once before, "all the boys get new 4WDs now"

The Ministry of Misappropriation of Funds ( MoMoF ) moves from Surat to Samui.
