True-H not recieve OTP

Hi folks, I used to be able to recieve OTP from overseas bank with true-H, but about a week ago I do not recieve OTP after I login onto overseas bank.

Does anyone had this problem and was it the True-H's end? 

Also seems they increased the monthly price from 320 to 380 baht without informing me.

I use iphone.

Call customer support of True, they could of course look in the matter. But I would first check with the bank or company overseas as had similar issues last month and it was the online retail seller (who's name starts with a big A !!)  that was at fault. Keep in mind also that Apple or ios app developpers seem to be doing almost daily security updates on many apps, on all the iOs etc.......so it also could be due to that. Looks that cybercriminals are trying to penetrate the iOs  or OsX when one sees so many daily updates on the iphone ? But then I am no specialist...just wondering what's goin on. Good Luck.

Postpaid? Send yourself or get a friend to send you an SMS from another phone. Does it get to you?

Do you have the True iService app ?

You can chat with them on that.

 

Could your service have become inactive ? 
As suggested, ensure others can send you an SMS.

 

Also, ensure the usual setting are on.

& Turn on WiFi calling (that’s how I revive SMS while overseas).

 

Obviously ensure SIM is on and on.

I had the same problem last year called into True shop and after several attempts with their Technical department gave it up as a bad job....ported my number over to AIS  and no issues since....I suggest you do the same as this topic has turned up many times on here True are crap with receiving OTP,s 👍

The difficulty is that the OP is overseas, so taking action is difficult.

 

He first needs to get someone to send him an SMS & see if the issue was a his service provider or Bank.

They didn’t state that they were overseas…

Ok cool my peeps.

the problem was I had ad blocker on my chrome browser. Once I turned it off I do rcv otp now so it’s cool now

yet I’m not happy with true that 60 baht increase without informing me

anyone can reco cheaper post paid less than 380baht?

Seems all other providers start from 399 these days

I just need my number for otp or should I stop being a cheap skate?

Why have PostPaid in the first place? You can simply keep a Prepaid SIM going at a cost of 15 baht per 6 months(DTAC/Truemove H). You can stay with Truemove H if you wish, just ask to move to PrePaid.
