Sattahip — A distressing incident unfolded in Na Jomtien, Chonburi province, yesterday as a 51-year-old single mother faced the brunt of her 28-year-old son’s drug-induced aggression.

The son, identified as Mr. Ratchaphon (surname withheld), who was recently released from prison after a two-month stint, allegedly displayed violent behaviors towards his mother, verbally abusing and physically assaulting her. The incident, which was reported to Na Jomtien police today, November 13th, was witnessed by several bystanders as the police officers tried to pacify the aggressive son.

Ms. Kwanchanok, the mother whose full name was withheld to protect her privacy, stated to police that she was bringing lunch to Mr. Ratchaphon when he suddenly began insulting her and damaging items in her house.
