(Apologies if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find any conclusive answers by searching through all threads)

I have an appointment next week at Chaeng Wattana to do another 1 year visa extension based on marriage. The problem is that I missed doing a 90 day report this year (I have been traveling a lot in and out of the country and I didn't realized that I stayed more than 90 days at some point).

From what I've read I have to expect a 2000 Baht fine (although I've also seen some people claim it could be up to 5000 Baht). Anyway, that's what I get for my carelessness.

My question is:

Can I sort out the 90 report fine at the same time as I do my visa extension? Or would it be better if I go to CW earlier to sort it out so that everything goes smoothly for the marriage extension. Needless to say, I'd rather avoid two trips to CW so if possible, I'd prefer the first option. Any advice?

Yes, you can, and the fine is almost always 2000 baht.

Do you know if the same IO that handles the visa extension can also take care of the fine?

It is not. You will have to take another queue

Thank you

I'm struggling to find any information on doing a 90 day report at CW. I have only done one in person so far at the Muang Thong Thani temporary center, which was very easy and quick.

How is it at CW? Are there long queues? My appointment for the visa extension is in the early afternoon. Should I come early in the morning to sort out the 90 day report?

Normally just most recent TM47 receipt would cut it.

If you have a lease or current TM30 that could suffice.

Thank you guys. Any advice on how long this could take?

I have the appointment for the visa extension in the early afternoon. I was thinking of arriving at CW early in the morning to sort out the 90 day report issue. Would that be enough time?

When did you last re-enter the country?

You can make an appointment for the 90-day report. I'd do that and get it sorted in the morning before your extension.

You can make multiple appointments, for different activities.
