If finance is short forget a nice beach. Pattaya is probably the OP's best bet. Plenty of really cheap accommodation options there. Just have to look and in a Thai residential area.

  • I am starting to like Cha-am more now.

  • Prachuap is relaxing. 1 hour south of Hua Hin.   Nong Khai.

Where will I find a reputable agent as this sounds like the best advice.

Total income with super and pension in AUD is $30,000 pa or 700,000 baht

Can someone recommend an agent, reputable, as it sounds the way to go.

Thanks so much.

Also can I say that the recommendations from all of you are so very much appreciated.

Am thinking thaty all I need to do is arrive on a non visa, contact a reputable agent, and move into maybe Jontiem, spelt right?

I would love to live in a condominium, with ex pats, but have contact with fabulous food and pools and beaches. Too much requirements? Pattaya area soundscool.

I really look forward to residential people, particularly ex pats for recommendations.

Personally not a big fan of watching bloggers, however think you can learn a lot from some.

You mention Pattaya.

There is one blogger in particular..

American guy with very professional vids on YouTube...

" Rides 4 Kickz"

Does things like recent video beaches from North Pattaya to past Jomtien..

Along with MANY other topics.

Lot of material out there.
