phetphet
Seeing as Christmas is coming, I thought I would maybe treat myself to some Hayward’s Piccalilli. Goes well with cheese and cold meats. But boy was I shocked at the price. Now I know we have to pay a premium for imported western foodstuffs, and I do often order UK foods from Food Variety etc, but the cheapest prices on Lazada ranged from THB557 to over THB800 per 400g jar. That’s almost £14-£20. UK varies from £1 to £3.18 according to price check. See attached. Anyone know why some imported items are marked up so much more than others here?

We're in Bangkok and use them occasionally when we want to stock up on a load of imported stuff. https://expatfoodsthailand.com/
freeworld
I see in BIG C Rama4 in BKK they are having a British festival atm. A jar of Branston piccalilly for about 250 baht, could probably be ordered online as well.
