The lifeless body of a 47 year old man from Slovenia was discovered in a Pattaya condominium yesterday. The preliminary investigations suggest that the cause of death was likely suicide.

The scene was inspected by a team led by Pattaya police chief investigator, Police Lieutenant Colonel Thananon Athipansee, alongside medics from Bang Lamung Hospital and rescue workers. The team was dispatched to Unixx South Pattaya condominium situated in Tambon Nong Prue, Bang Lamung district, following the distressing find.

Peter Vagner, dressed in black shorts and a green t-shirt, was discovered on a sofa in room number 2933 on the 29th floor of Building A. Disturbingly, his head was encased and wrapped in a plastic bag, linked to a gas cylinder by a rubber tube, reported The Pattaya News.

The investigators noted no signs of a struggle or evidence suggesting the room had been forcibly entered. The initial assessment led them to believe that the European man had not been subjected to any physical violence.
