My Thai partner had a week in bed, no cough or head cold, but just achey bones, bad headache, and wanting to sleep all the time. I thought I'd ecaped because I had no symptoms a week after she was back on her feet. No such luck, now I'm laid up with the same symptoms.

Yes the Flu Virus is constantly changing, I think current strain is subtype A(H1N1) and A(H3N2) ,

Haven't had flu for decades, but then I keep up-to-date with vaccinations.

i had flu earlier this year, far worse than the covid i had, as mentioned above could be Dengue, if girlfriend got dengue mosquito could bite her and spread it to you
