In what way would I be surprised?  is it worse than I think or not as bad?

I mean some areas that you may think are Bangkok are actually Samut Prakan.

Common amongst poor families in Issan.

The money the Thai men put in for drink, drugs, and ciggs they could build a fairly descent home.

The mothers are also a big problem.  Coddling the boys/men from birth to grave. They're usually totally or partially dependent on handouts from there mother.

It is indeed a nation of mummies boys,

Rittiporn will initially be charged with premeditated murder under Section 290 of the Penal Code. This carries a prison sentence of between three and 15 years.

This cannot be correct.

It is correct for manslaughter to which Section 290 relates.

I don't think I have ever read a comment from you that isn't just downright weird ,  I'm sure I read somewhere on here that you are a "teacher"  I find that very concerning.  If it is true, could you do the decent thing and let us all know which school you work at so that it can be avoided

Thanks in advance

Well said.

I just wonder who put a laughing emoji in the news feed for this article? Shame on you for not understanding better!

I think you're talking to a serial molester and perhaps killer of babies.  Laughing emoji on a child dying?  I am devasted, and sad, and pray for her.

As there is no such emoji attached to the OP, perhaps it was nothing more than a case of someone inadvertently hitting the wrong one and then correcting the mistake.

Instead of speculating you could just have read the full article.

Right  .

This from the original article :

Rittporn arrived home around 1.30am and was drunk. Focus puked and pooped, which made Rittiporn angry. He hit Focus with a hose in the bathroom before going to bed. Focus had a stomach ache and was crying,

Police rushed to the hospital to investigate and found the girl’s face swollen and her body covered in bruises and wounds.

That makes more sense. So it seems that the article is incorrect in describing the charge as "premeditated murder".

I just looked and there is a laughing emoji attached to the OP. Maybe it's a new one since you last looked.

Yes, it must have been recently added.

But he didn't make nude photos of a celebrity?  Because that is where the real crime is at.

What a sickening comment from you again if you got nothing to say of value just shut up.

Sadly this is very normal with the poor.

Then you got children having children.

Stop posting BS! If you understand what you read. I posted in the news feed. Go look there, after you can revise. If you can´t find it. Below is a screen shot.

Stop trying to tell other members what to post particularly when your BS (to quote you) is calling their post BS.  This is in the Bangkok News feed and when I read the OP there were no "Laughing" emojis.  You know what you can do with your instruction for me to "revise", don't you?

You are really hard to convince, right? Now look at the screen shot below, and then you can revise. But, you probably will come up with another silly comment/excuse for not being wrong when you are wrong.
Does the image below look like it comes from Bangkok News? No, it does not, so it´s just another load of BS from you. As you understand now, it was not in the OP, hence I wrote in the news feed. Here is the link to check for yourself:

No, Svensson, I don't take instructions from you.

I'm always lost for words when I see things like this happen I have no explanation as to why would someone do this, poor defenseless little thing, may she RIP little one, so sad.

Makes me always think of my little grand daughter who is also not 3 yet and how she brings so much joy to the house every day even though she is in the UK, she's a little monkey it's lovely to see them growing and developing everyday, thank god for what's app and Facebook, we get our daily dose of photo's and video's and put's a big smile on my wifes face,

Once again little one RIP,

It is, 3 years if you're rich and 15 years if you're poor.

You forgot to add if you are rich you stay in house arrest while an appeal is heard then upheld, no jail time.

The saddest, heartbreaking part of this thread is the picture of a tiny body on a big stretcher. R.I.P. little one, you deserved better.

Is the stepfather, who admitted murdering the child, still alive?   He should not live a day longer!

He has apparently been charged with committing "premeditated murder".

Which carries a 3 to 15 year prison sentence according to the criminal code 290.

I'm lost for words

This is quite normal in many Thai households; everybody sleeps in one room on the floor.
