Does anyone know anything about the ferry between phuket and krabi? i need to find out times, the company who runs the service, price etc.

are you sure there isnt a ferry? i was sure that there was a public boat daily at about 10am, but am not sure of this, of course.

Boat to/from Phuket/Krabi There is a direct boat service to/from Phuket/Krabi daily. The boat, leaves Phuket ferry terminal (where the Phi Phi ferries leave) each morning between 08.00 and 08.30 each morning and arrives at Ao Nang Beach (south-west of Krabi Town) about 2 hours later. It returns to Phuket in the afternoon at 15.00 and the service includes a free shuttle service to Phuket Town. I'm pretty sure that's the case as well. I recently went to Lanta as someone told me there was a direct boat back to Phuket, when there isn't in low season. Same for Nang. Krabi - PhiPhi - Phuket is the route in low season.

I strongly advise not going to Lanta in the low season, especially not arriving late and with no previously booked accommodation.
