Popular Post webfact
In line with the National Police's policy, Pol. Lt. Gen. Torasak Sukwimol, Commissioner of Immigration Bureau, and Pol. Lt. Gen. Surachet Hakpal, Deputy Commissioner, directed the Immigration Bureau to conduct voluntary activities under the "Royal Volunteer Spirit Bestowed 904 Projects." On December 22, 2022, led by Pol. Lt. Gen. Itthipol Itthisarnrat, the Commissioner of Immigration Bureau, various high-ranking officers organized an event on Khaosan Road, a popular tourist area, reported Siam Rath. Seventy immigration officers participated in the "We Do Good with Heart" initiative, providing essential services to both Thai and international travelers. The Immigration Bureau's Inspection Division 1 facilitated a Mobile Service to enhance convenience for tourists in the Khaosan Road area and nearby locations. The services included requests for tourist visas (TM.30 and TM.47), re-entry permits, notifications of stay exceeding 90 days, and accommodations according to TM.38. Commissioner Itthipol emphasized that the primary objective of the event was to encourage close collaboration between immigration officers and the public. Khaosan Road, a tourist hub, not only served the public but also acted as a surveillance measure to ensure the safety of both Thai and foreign visitors and prevent transnational criminal activities. The event also served as an opportunity to promote various Immigration Bureau projects, such as the "e-Extension" system, allowing foreigners to apply for temporary stays electronically. Additionally, foreign nationals could input their information through mobile devices and computers, confirming their identity with officers in less than three minutes. After the activities concluded, thorough cleaning of service areas and surrounding spaces took place for the benefit of the community. The Immigration Bureau wishes to inform the public about its ongoing efforts to monitor and combat various offenses. If anyone observes suspicious activities, they are encouraged to report them to the Immigration Bureau's Inspection Division at Building Chaloem Phra Kiat, Suan Mokut Ratchakan, 60th Anniversary Siam Makut Ratchakar, 904 Moo 6, Ban Mai, Pak Kret, Nonthaburi 11120, or contact the local immigration office or visit www.immigration.go.th. The Immigration Bureau expresses its sincere gratitude for the public's cooperation. Popular Post fondue zoo
A good idea, keep the trust, they almost always, after a bit, get cagey and water down what they can officially do on the spot because all farang deep down are criminals trying to break Siam. Relax the sphincters, stamp the forms, convenient happiness for all. 1

Classic Ray
Why not publish a telephone number for people to report the suspicious activity? They have an address and website but no telephone hotline? 1

brianthainess
Now if only they could do that on Koh Chang, instead of everybody having to take the ferry to Trat, and then drive to Laem Nob, we already have a sub office but only good for 90day reports, went last week for my Marriage extension and was packed with tourists doing extensions. it is what it is
that's a great idea, but will it return regularly? i had a quick look at the e-extension website, it's a bit of a mess. too much colour and cartoons, why can't they design a simple, easy to navigate site such as the uk or canadian government sites?

Not to be confused with Liam Gallagher who is a complete NOB. But with his attitude he would make a perfect Immigration officer.
