Popular Post peterpaintpot
The highly intelligent Anutin states that: hub for collecting information to prevent and reduce road accidents during the New Year period! A person with average intelligence will be able to understand that it is impossible to collect information, analyse what the major problems are, and act on this information within 6 days. Sorry Anutin you are only 12 months too late!! 2

Did they initiate proceedings by trooping outside to the big blue tent, opening and browsing Shopee on their phones whilst quaffing a large iced coffee delivered by a 7/11 girl on a scooter? The scooter girl never made it. She was involved in a vehicle collision. No helmet. One of the Minister's ready-mix concrete trucks delivered the drinks.

Pedant head on - I can divert with the best of 'em - but I have noticed that 7/11 delivery drivers, in fact virtually all delivery drivers wear helmets. Company policy perhaps? fondue zoo
I wonder what the cue/trigger is for when they all decide to wear their phraratchathan costume or a suit/tie combo. My guess is it depends on the announcement, anything that might go international, western garb. Anything they think will only be local news gets the local fancy dress. And is that Sretta checking to see if his shocks are showing?.. they have to be showing at all times, that's his "thing" now.

WHansen
Opening DLT's that actually train people to be competant on the roads would be a good start. In combination with a system that bans people who are caught drink driving, driving without a licence and without insurance might start to reduce deaths on the roads.
Srikcir
15 hours ago, webfact said: The purpose is to reduce road accidents, casualties, and injury rates to at least 5% Statistically "low hanging fruit." A minimum target of 30% and an upper target of 60% would be a significant goal. So the 5% seems more of a "check the government success box" for re-election.
