I don't trust the statistics. Like in most places they are massaged too reflect will on the leadership.

Just remember that they only include those who die at the scene of the crash in these figures.

The real number of deaths could be double that if they included those who succumb to their injuries in hospital.

Describing deaths and injuries as "traffic mishaps" speaks volumes

Life is cheap here....no one cares.....if you could level an accusation at the politicians here then they would be accused of seriously lacking in empathy.

History has shown that trying to stop Thais from killing themselves by all manner of means is a waste of time.

Let them do as they wish... just take care of yourself.

Of course ... How could anything fail here in Thailand? just manipulate the numbers and everything looks fine... Many tourist with huge spendings, less traffic accidents , injured and deaths, as we only count them who died instantly, later on the way to the hospital or in the hospital we don't count anymore.. We order not count every accident in every province and see... It works

Which is what they do every year, right? So, if they are counting them the same each year, then there could have been a drop.  And I see this claim been said on here, anyone got any evidence for it?
