Popular Post webfact Posted January 19, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2024 On January 19, 2024, people complained to the news that a guy, who nobody knows, used a knife and pretended to be a cop to force others into buying beer near Soi Najaomtien 20, Najaomtien Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi Province. Ms. Urai Phorn, also called Ms. Bee and 21 years old, shared what happened. She said that before this happened, she and three friends were chilling and having beers close to the Soi Najaomtien 20 football field after finishing work, reported Siam Rath. According to Bee, she and three friends were unwinding with beers near a street corner in Na Jomtien 20, Nong Prue, Sattahip, Chonburi, after wrapping up work around 1:40 a.m. Foreigners approached them, expressing interest in purchasing beer. Bee offered to assist, but a Thai man on a motorcycle intervened, driving the foreigners away. Shortly thereafter, the foreigners returned, and Bee volunteered to procure beer for them. The Thai man, who had parked nearby, signaled for the tourists to buy from him, setting the price at 200 Baht per bottle. After a brief exchange, the Thai man departed but returned ten minutes later. Bee asked if they still desired beer, offering to make the purchase. The tourists agreed, handing money to Bee as they waited for their drinks. Unexpectedly, the Thai man reappeared, parked his motorcycle, and confronted the tourists again. Despite Bee's efforts to defuse the situation, the man produced a small knife, threatening the tourists. Startled, the tourists fled, with the Thai man in pursuit, resulting in a confrontation captured by surveillance cameras. Bee has called for authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the incident, expressing concerns about its potential impact on Pattaya's tourism reputation if such occurrences become recurring. -- ASEAN NOW 2024-01-20 - Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. Popular Post Bangkok Barry Posted January 20, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2024 Interesting image Thais have of their police, isn't it, with this idiot thinking that claiming to be one gave him the right to demand others buy him beer. Anyway, yet more 'unusual' experiences for tourists to enjoy as they holiday in the land of smiles. 3

Popular Post Hanuman2547 Posted January 20, 2024 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2024 I wouldn't want to buy beer at 200 baht a bottle either. Not sure if that was for a big or small bottle but overpriced for both. 1 1 2

They're called collapsible batons or ASPs. You better be trained on how to use one because if you don't, you'll probably make head strikes and kill someone with it. -Then you go to jail and shower with your bunkmates.

Refuse, and you will die, plain and simple. Couple of weeks ago an Ukraine man thought he was tough. Dead in about 10 seconds. Thailand and allot of SE Asia countries are places where you can resist and not die most of the time. But, allot of countries you resist or fight and you die. 2 1 1

I agree, seems all the foreigners are pussies these days. Or they turn into pussies fast after arriving in Thailand. Where are all the hard cases these days? I grew up in England, Scotland and Australia. Back in the 1960s you had to be very careful, there were all these hard cases about who could put the heid on you and bust your face open, then kick the living daylights out of you. I've seen men fighting in outback Aussie pubs that were battering each other faces with bare fists until they were swollen and bruised but they kept on hammering into each other. 2
