Bells Whisky

Featured Replies

Bells Whisky seems to have disappeared from the shops.  I was told that the supplier can't supply.

Anyone any further info?

The thought of that muck still makes me shudder, does not deserve to be called whisky.

I had a swig about about 10 years ago attempting to play golf in the winter in the UK (frozen greens)...

It was surprising good, or I was so damn cold it was just so very welcome !!!

I do wonder why someone would want Bells in Thailand... Surely something like JW Red is very similar ?

1L of Bell's is around 500THB.

JW Red - 700mL is around 850THB.

I think that explains why Bell's has become popular.

Both are blends and IMO, not much difference in taste. Both okay with ice and a mixer.

Bells is a much more amenable fire water than JW Red will ever be, and not just because the latter is overpriced, overhyped rubbish either.

Bells has disappeared for a few months already. I asked today at a distributor and he said no import anymore.

Many more palatable swills have disappeared lately for some reason.

Ben More whisky also gone. There are more of which I don't recall the names.

Beer lao dark, not seen anything brewed less than a year ago. Cheers beers also are disappearing, what you find is old stock. There is another thread on this forum from someone who also asked where to find the quality import beers that were available a year ago
