  • It's a hoot to watch the Conservative Media Echosphere glom onto this, and other, Taylor Swift conspiracy theories. Just when you think they can't make themselves look sillier they go ahead and exceed

Explain where the facts in this rant are:

You are literally admitting to not knowing a fact when you see it.

Don't know any of these theories. Not my forte. Must be yours.

Then why are you posting in an article that's about those theories? It does explain the irrelevance of your comments, though.

She's already 34 years old. She just acts like she's 16.

She's got to wait at least another year before she's allowed to run for President.

My hobby is listening to Taylor Swift. She's not just cheap pop music, her songs include highly relevant social and political comment. This is why the far right hate her.

all due respect, but seriously, americans vote for this bloke? and the only alternative is an old codger...?

Obviously, you have not enjoyed the wonderful parts of living the American dream.

Fifty years in California I know just how lucky life can be in the United States, because I have.

Nope. AND Taytay got 35,000+ people to register to vote. This is getting MAGA folks' heads absolutely EXPLODING!

I have to guess, but I assume you are talking about a singer who made it out of thousands of wannabe music stars because she has good genes, but is still just a musician.

Why would anyone take political advice from a musician?

As usual you attack Trump for what he is, and ignore why many, many millions of adult Americans chose him as POTUS instead of her.

Have you ever asked yourself WHY so many adult Americans prefer him, DESPITE his many failings, over your hero Biden?

@thaibeachlovers

Why would anyone take political advice from an aging, disgruntled anonymous poster on a minor internet forum?

Same here, if America decides Trump's leadership skill are what's needed in America, then those voters deserve the eventual outcome.

Yes, I very much agree, however, America wields such exceptional power militarily and economically that the likely affect of the probable Horlicks he will create will impact world wide.

With great power goes great responsibility. If you take it upon yourself to project your power worldwide then you must take on that responsibility; otherwise you are just throwing your weight around.

Anyway, back to today's Democrat muse, and MAGA antichrist, the lovely Miss Swift, does she have real political ambition, and the powerbase to go with it, (looking at the cluster**** which seems to be arisng in American politics and public life, having teenage girls running the show might not be such a bad idea!) or is she just guilty of just daring to hold an opinion?

I hope she's guilty of running for president in 2028. These conspiracy theories have just qualified her bigly.

Taylor Swift has it all, money, popularity, influence, charisma, a liberal world view and a willingness to take the fight all the way.

"You'll look directly at the sun but you won't look in the mirror".

Says it all, really

Anti Hero, which also includes the retrospective, self-aware line, which Trump would never, ever understand.

It's me, hi / I'm the problem, it's me

For the most part, the right is dragging her because she encouraged people to register to vote. For some reason, the right prefers that fewer people vote.

Her counter-endorsement of Marcia Blackburn, or endorsement of Biden in 2020, or potential endorsement of Biden in 2024, isn't the issue flummoxing the right-wing low-IQ pundits and voters.

First, let me say I don't agree with this, but here it is.

In political wonk-land, the heavier the turnout for a vote the more likely the Dems will win.  Both parties believe this.  I think it was deemed god's truth after the Obama 2008 win.

So, a GOP ploy, in addition to gerrymandering, is that the more difficult it is to vote the lower the number of collected votes means better chance for GOP.

Hence, the right-wing low-IQ pundits are afraid of Ms. Swift's efforts to get more people to register to vote and to vote.

I think we agree.

Again.

Last time the establishment, both within the Republican Party and the government machine held him in check.

He learnt, I don't think he is very clever but he is shrewd. The Republican Party has been purged, the government machine will be purged within the first months.

America’s Paranoid Taylor Swift Super Bowl MAGA Fever Dream

A chyron on the conservative One America News Network deemed it a “massive superbowl psy-op.” The game would be little more than Democratic propaganda, showcasing what Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican Presidential candidate turned Trump booster, called an “artificially culturally propped-up couple.” (On X, the Times columnist Ross Douthat proposed that the couple should act as a “screening question,” like a Rorschach blot, for a future G.O.P. Administration: Are they “the last best hope for America” or a ploy to make N.F.L. fans “get booster shots and vote for Democrats”?)

Of course not. All the arts have always supported liberal causes and the democratic party. Same goes with the bulk of highly educated people. It's always been thus.

Why? They are less likely to believe in conspiracy theories and less likely to be racist.

The Democrats were always the most racist and pro slavery.
