As you will know, this new tax has been proposed and may be implemented by now. It seems the further we travel, the more tax we will be forced to pay. For those of us who like to holiday in LOS, our air travel is likely to become even more expensive.

I am wondering how we might be able to avoid paying this tax, while still flying to the LOS.

Perhaps we may be able to avoid this tax by flying to the LOS from Ireland, Belgium, France or Spain. I am assuming that foreign countries would not charge a UK tax.

What do others think ? Does anyone know if this is possible ? Are there any better ideas ?
