This is the second case that the courts have "cleared up" for Yingluck.

All that remains, I think, is the rice scheme "case".

My ignorant opinion means nothing of course, but I don't think that was a corrupt move so much as a colossal blunder and colossal ignorance as to world economics. As I recall India moved in to fill the rice deficit and that's why she was stuck with rice she couldn't sell at the price she planned on.

I think it's a good move politically because it will serve to unite the different factions and enhance the position of the party in control. Just my ignorant opinion.

Former PM Prayut did both a rice and rubber pledge scheme and not prosecuted. The difference - Yingluck was not backed by the Prayut military coup that overthrew her government. Goose and Gander. Expunge her conviction as selective prosecution.

We ALL knew this was coming months ago. Just a lot of bad acting and the next scene in this totally predictable, pre-arranged BS Tale.

When the PT abandoned all pretense of ethics, morality and representation of the people, and jumped in bed with the ultra toxic army, it was a forgone conclusion that both Thaksins would be exonerated. It was part of the deal. This is the price Thailand is paying for the abandonment of democracy.

You'll be remembering that the military, and other assorted political puppets, just adhere to [and following orders] from a higher realm and has been the case forever.

PT is/was like any other decent servant......

It is what it is.

A servant is definitely true, but decent? What have these goons done for the Thai people lately?

Indeed.

Though, it appears that some haven't caught on yet.
