The National Anti-Corruption Commission yesterday agreed to take over the investigation from the police into the alleged involvement of deputy national police chief Surachate Hakparn and four others in a major online gambling network. This follows a similar case involving a deputy chief investigator and seven others. The police will continue to pursue related criminal aspects, including tracing the money trail of the online gambling network.
