Another vile propaganda video of one of the hostages released by the terrorists yesterday,  Hersh Goldberg-Polin. He was one of the 29 people that had huddled together in one of the shelters at the Nova Music festival before Hamas began to throw grenades inside. Eight people survived by hiding under the bodies of the dead, he was one, although had his hand blown off and taken hostage. He's an Israeli-American.

They need to get the hostages back somehow .

If Hamas wont give the hostages back, then Israel will have to go and take them back by force

If Hamas gave the hostages back, Israel's onslaught of Rafah wouldn't be stopped. It would just be delayed a week or so.

That would be up to the two sides to negotiate .

If Hamas gave the hostages back, then Israel wouldn't need to go into Rafah and get them back

Hams will not give the hostages back , so Israel will go and take them back .

In a few weeks time  there could be no hostages and no Hamas

Of course not, Hamas must be neutralised as well as the hostages returned!

Biden and 17 other world leaders call for ‘immediate release’ of hostages held by Hamas

President Joe Biden and a group of 17 other heads of state and government whose citizens are being held hostages by Hamas are calling for the hostages’ “immediate release” and urging the militant group to accept a deal that has been pending for some time now in an extraordinary joint statement released on Thursday.

“We emphasise that the deal on the table to release the hostages would bring an immediate and prolonged ceasefire in Gaza that would facilitate a surge of additional necessary humanitarian assistance to be delivered throughout Gaza,” the leaders will say.

ISTANBUL (AP) — A top Hamas political official told The Associated Press the Islamic militant group is willing to agree to a truce of five years or more with Israel and that it would lay down its weapons and convert into a political party if an independent Palestinian state is established along pre-1967 borders.

The comments by Khalil al-Hayya in an interview Wednesday came amid a stalemate in months of talks for a cease-fire in Gaza. The suggestion that Hamas would disarm appeared to be a significant concession by the militant group officially committed to Israel’s destruction.

But it’s unlikely Israel would consider such a scenario. It has vowed to crush Hamas following the deadly Oct. 7 attacks that triggered the war, and its current leadership is adamantly opposed to the creation of a Palestinian state on lands Israel captured in the 1967 Mideast war.

The above are the significant words. All the conflicts that have happened since 1948 are over the land. The UN gave them borders within which they are legal, but they want more, and if they have to steal them will do so, while the US will cover for them in the UN. The legal land owners are understandably not happy with that arrangement.

I wonder how the israelis would like it if the UN said it was taking land off israel to give to a recently discovered tribe of Canaanites ( the people exterminated by the ancient Hebrews when they took the land for themselves )

You’re replying to a post with Hamas making promises about 2 states and lay arms down for 5 years with no mention of the hostages. Then go onto your usual slagging off of Israel. Hamas lie. Wake up. Hamas go to sleep at night committing war crimes every night. You are shameful.

More Hamas lies revealed

US official says Israel agreed to unrestricted return of Palestinians to northern Gaza

Israel agreed to the hostage deal proposal on the table that would allow for the unrestricted return of Palestinians to northern Gaza, a senior Biden administration official tells reporters in a briefing.
The official was asked about comments from Hamas officials claiming that Israel has refused this demand. In the past, Israel had indeed indicated resistance to the unrestricted return of Palestinians to areas the IDF cleared in northern Gaza, due to fears that it would lead to a resurgence of Hamas.
But the senior administration official says Israel has in fact agreed to an unrestricted return as part of the hostage deal that Hamas has rejected.

The Countries who signed this are telling Hamas to release the hostages now .

The IDF are preparing for the final purge of Hamas in Rafah .

The signatories are telling Hamas they they are at fault for the soon to be carnage in Rafah and its up to them to stop it and they are responsible for anything that happens , because Hamas holding the hostages are the cause of the upcoming purge

Joint Statement from the Leaders of the United States, Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Thailand, and the United Kingdom Calling for the Release of the Hostages Held in Gaza

We call for the immediate release of all hostages held by Hamas in Gaza for over 200 days. They include our own citizens.  The fate of the hostages and the civilian population in Gaza, who are protected under international law, is of international concern.

We emphasize that the deal on the table to release the hostages would bring an immediate and prolonged ceasefire in Gaza, that would facilitate a surge of additional necessary humanitarian assistance to be delivered throughout Gaza, and lead to the credible end of hostilities. Gazans would be able to return to their homes and their lands with preparations beforehand to ensure shelter and humanitarian provisions.

We strongly support the ongoing mediation efforts in order to bring our people home.  We reiterate our call on Hamas to release the hostages, and let us end this crisis so that collectively we can focus our efforts on bringing peace and stability to the region.

You are twisting things around there , it was the Arabs/Palestinians who were given land and legal borders and it has been the Arabs /Palestinian's who have rejected those legal borders and THEY want more land .

The Arabs /Palestinians began fighting Israel for more land and they lost the wars and retreated from land .

More propaganda video releases from Hamas of a couple of US hostages being held.

Keith Siegel and Omri Miran: Video shows US and Israeli hostages alive in Gaza

image.png.d3078cd798700c5b2a989d3ddf5d2743.png

The new video comes as Hamas said it was studying Israel's latest proposal for a truce. Media reports said mediator Egypt had sent a delegation to Israel to give fresh impetus to stalled negotiations.

Such a deal that included an agreement to free the remaining hostages could stop Israel's planned ground assault in the southern city of Rafah, Israel's foreign minister said on Saturday.

Lets see the Hamas supporters get out of this one.

Israel ‘will suspend Rafah operation if Hamas agrees hostage deal’

An imminent military operation in Rafah will be suspended if a hostage release deal is secured, Israel’s Foreign Minister has announced.

Israel Katz said on Saturday that the offensive would be called off if Hamas agrees to the deal, stressing that freeing the remaining hostages snatched by the terror group on October 7 was the government’s “top priority”.

“The release of the hostages is the top priority for us,” Katz, a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s security cabinet told Israel’s Channel 12. He added: “If there will be a deal, we will suspend the operation” in the last Hamas bastion in southernmost Gaza.

Blinken says he hopes Hamas takes ‘extraordinarily generous’ truce offer, hostage deal, makes ‘right decision’
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says he is hopeful Hamas would accept an “extraordinarily generous” offer to halt Israel’s offensive in Gaza in return for the release of hostages.
“Hamas has before it a proposal that is extraordinarily, extraordinarily generous on the part of Israel,” Blinken says in Riyadh at the World Economic Forum.
“They have to decide — and they have to decide quickly,” Blinken says. “I’m hopeful that they will make the right decision.”

Far-right allies of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are raising pressure on the embattled leader to reject a new Gaza ceasefire, jeopardising his government's stability if he backs away from an assault on Hamas in Rafah.
However, if a ceasefire is agreed, the attack plans will be shelved in favour of a "period of sustained calm", according to a source briefed on the talks, during which a few dozen hostages of Hamas will be released in return for Palestinian prisoners.
On Sunday, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich urged Netanyahu not to back away from a ground offensive against Hamas in Rafah, even as the premier is grappling with pressure from international allies to scrap assault plans due to the risk of high civilian casualties and a humanitarian disaster.
But a ceasefire would be a humiliating defeat, Smotrich said in a video he released to the press and addressed to Netanyahu. If it fails to stamp out Hamas, "a government headed by you will have no right to exist," he said.

The terrorists started this on Oct 7th, they still want carnage to carry on. Hamas prove me wrong please

Gaza war: US 'hopeful' Hamas will accept Israel's new ceasefire offer

The US secretary of state hopes Hamas will accept what he has called Israel's "extraordinarily generous" offer for a Gaza truce and hostage release deal.
Antony Blinken was speaking as a Hamas delegation discussed the new proposal with mediators from Egypt and Qatar.
A source close to the talks told the BBC they were cautiously optimistic.
The proposal includes a 40-day truce in return for the release of hostages and the prospect of displaced families being allowed back to northern Gaza.
It reportedly also involves new wording on restoring calm meant to satisfy Hamas's demand for a permanent ceasefire.
