snoop1130
Thailand’s opposition parties submitted a motion to the House of Representatives today, seeking a general debate against the government of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, accusing it of failing to fulfil its election promises, or the policies identified in the statement delivered by the prime minister to parliament, in the more than six months since it took office. Opposition and Move Forward party leader Chaithawat Tulathon cited various policies and promises which are yet to be implemented, including energy restructuring, farmers’ indebtedness, military reform, political conflict resolution, educational reform, the addressing of environmental problems, double standards in law enforcement, bureaucratic corruption, eliminating “dark” influences, reducing the cost of living and the protection of basic rights and liberties. He said that the opposition cannot afford to sit idly by while the government to continues its poor performance, incompetence and lack of direction which, in the long run, will hurt the country, economically and socially. ikke1959
The best thing that happened till now... The current Government is more busy with the Thaksin family than making the country better.. Nothing is achieved so far although the promises were hopeful, but in fact we could know it already as the old Government dinosaurs are still in power as they were in previous years but only with Pheu Thai now in an office

Digital wallet? The miltary will allow this general debate to happen. They will then allow the the vote of no confindence in the PM and will support it. PM gone. MFP disolved. No PM and no opposition. Any proposal of a new PM will be blocked by the Senate. How can parliament continue? Citing uncertainties in the interest of the national security of Thailand and the protection of the monarchy the miltary will form a caretaker govt. until an election can be called. Never mind soft power 4.0 this will be soft coup d'etat 2.0. It's a scenario and I think a possible one. One thing is certain though. The miltary/elite will not lose their power and in this scenario it will of course be increased. Edited March 13 by dinsdale
