Retirement visa
You didn't need Vietnam flight for TDAC. So you don't actually have a ticket to Vietnam? The TM87 is a form to obtain a Non O from visa, exempt entry. The TM86 form is used if you entered via Tourist visa. Please don't tell me you entered with a tourist visa. Are you reading any of the advice posted in the thread? -

Tourism Thai Tourism Council Appeals for Industry Overhaul to Enhance Global Competitiveness
File photo for reference only The Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT) is poised to submit a letter to Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra this week, urging enhancements to Thailand’s tourism sector to secure its position as a sustainable and high-quality destination on the global stage. Chai Arunanondchai, TCT President, emphasized the need to boost the country's appeal by addressing persistent issues such as fraud and tourism safety concerns, given the current global uncertainties, including geopolitical conflicts. The sector, which provides over 4.4 million direct and indirect jobs, demands urgent reforms to tackle these challenges. The TCT has identified several areas of focus for improving the tourism landscape: Fraud and Safety: The government is urged to address tourist scams and related crimes, ensuring a cohesive approach among authorities for effective monitoring and resolution. Cannabis Regulation: Following the decriminalisation of cannabis, creating clear usage zones and setting regulations will help prevent misuse by tourists. Labour and Skills Training: Proposing the establishment of a tourism skills training school, the TCT seeks to address workforce shortages by equipping people with language, technology, and service skills. Simplifying Legal Processes: Streamlining hotel and accommodation licensing into a single process to reduce operational burdens. Sustainable Tourism Advocacy: An organization specifically dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism would help align Thailand’s practices with global environmental standards, such as those set by the EU. Additionally, the TCT has already presented a proposal to the Finance and Transport Ministries to address financial and transport-related challenges. They suggest offering loans with special interest rates and creating a sustainable tourism fund for SMEs. The TCT also advocates updating outdated budget regulations to better reflect current economic conditions. To enhance transportation, solutions such as connecting cities with new rail services and addressing car rental and taxi scams are recommended. The TCT, alongside the Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion, has initiated "Recharge Market 2025," targeting recovery for SMEs hit by floods and landslides. The events in Trang and Songkhla aim to generate significant economic activity, drawing participation from at least 350 operators and projecting a revenue of 28 million baht. Overall, the TCT’s proposed measures are crafted to propel Thailand's tourism industry into a new era of growth, resilience, and competitiveness on the global stage.
