Retirement extension
A lease should not be required. Especially in your example of living in wife's property. If you're handy to immigration you could consider doing TM30 in person. You would need copy of her Thai ID and bluebook. For others not married and doing visa exempt to Non O retirement immigration should accept a TM30 and explanation that you are in process of looking for property to take lease on. -

German Crashes BMW into Parked Vehicles in Phuket
'who, rationally, would not?' you ask - Only one poster I'm aware of on this forum - You !!... though I suspect as usual your comment is more pedanticism than rationality... There is nothing absurd whatsoever about an AN poster speculating that a 2 tonne vehicle was travelling at a high enough rate of speed to be considered 'absurd' if it managed to 'launch itself onto two pick-up trucks'.... I'd argue that such a comment is in-fact based on a high degree of rationality. -

Moments later she announced that the new administration had blocked a US$50 million ($87m) contract for condoms in Gaza. “That is a preposterous waste of taxpayer money,” she said. It was also a preposterous claim, improbable on its face and quickly debunked. There were millions in federal grants awarded to prevent sexually transmitted diseases in Gaza, but in the province in Mozambique, not the Palestinian territory. The condoms claim went viral anyway, seeping into the political discourse that President Donald Trump has used to justify his sweeping push to slash the federal Government. Trump’s first four years in the White House were filled with false or misleading statements – 30,573 of them, or 21 a day on average, according to one tally. Back then, though, aides often tried to play down or contain the damage of egregious falsehoods. But his aides now spread them, and some.......
