Is there many farangs in the jail?

Are they needing food parcels and a listening ear ?

I also have many books on the Psychometrics of graphs and analytics

I would love perhaps share my wisdom with any lonely prisoners

What are the visiting times ?.

I guess there maybe even farang ladies in prison?

We need to help these poor buggers who have fallen

Pretty sure they will like you to scream wisdom to them while they are on the other side behind bars while 20 fellow prisoners are also screaming and talking to their visitors. If you wanna help someone, the best is likely to donate money, so they can buy things in the shop.

You're living in the wrong country. They didn't get there by accident.

They may let you do the cleaning if you ask nicely, are you allowed visitors in your Psychiatric ward ?

That's a favorite in Thai prisons

There are many many christian charities and other groups who do this all the time. They get plenty of donations from all over the world.

The interesting aspect:

is there a regular prison on Pattaya area or just holding cells in Soi 9?

On a Friday evening you can give 20k (or 30k?) to the drunk drivers so they can get out on bail waiting for their short trial on Monday.

Oh ya, when I was in prison we all had that book.

You might like to try and contact darksidedog   I don't know if he still works with the prisons but he does or did a lot of good work with prisoners who by all accounts need all the help and support they can get.

Forget about the prisoners, how about helping some of the sick in hospital.

Some of those poor buggers are doing it tough. I'm sure they'd like to hear from you.

I did that in Chiang Mai. I visited the prison north of town and asked of there was anybody who never got any visitors. So a smiling guy from Angola showed up. He couldn't believe anyone wanted to even say hello. I met some people there who worked for aid agencies. They seemed to know all the prisoners quite well. They told me about the guy I was feeding, so I decided it would be best not to let him get to know me that well.

Helping a prisoner sounds real good during cocktail hour with the bleeding hearts club from NYC, but better to visit a hospital as mentioned or a retirement home.

I'm sure some prisoners would be happy for you to pick up the soap.

Why on earth would you do that, there's a high likelihood of them re offending, keep them locked up, teach them a lesson.

The roads are dangerous enough for me and my family.

They will need it after he visits, up to then they were all sane with no psychological problems.

If you really want to help somebody in prison here, go help the two Burmese kids in Samui who were convicted of murder ten years ago.

I was asked once to visit a guy in Pattalung prison and say some prayers for him, it was Songran, why what has he done? he shot 26 people, he needs more than a <deleted> prayer.
